  2. Remove the negative terminals of your car's battery to enhance safety.
  3. Cover the sensitive parts with plastic bags to avoid getting into contact with water.
  4. Spray the engine with a degreaser.
  5. Scrub the engine with a soft brush or piece of clothing.
  6. Rinse off the degreaser with running water.
  7. Carefully remove the plastic bags to avoid spilling water into the electric wires.
  8. Dry your engine using compressed air or a dry towel.
  9. Return the negative terminals of the battery.
